Frauenthal EXPO 2024
Review of the Record Trade Exhibition
Frauenthal EXPO 2024
Frauenthal EXPO 2024 was a record-breaking trade fair. With 163 exhibitors, more partners took part than ever before, and with almost 10,200 visitors, a spectacular record was set. Innovations in the supporting programme, such as the EXPO Walks, the EXPO Energy Transition Talk and the KPC promotion stand, were well received by the guests. The massive expansion in the electrical and photovoltaic sectors paid off, as many electricians visited the Frauenthal EXPO in addition to installers.
Thomas Stadlhofer, CEO of the Frauenthal Handel Group, looks back on the three days of the trade fair with pride: "What a brilliant start to 2024. New records for visitors and exhibitors clearly confirm our trade fair format. Compared to EXPO 2022, we welcomed 46% more visitors this year. But it's not about the numbers, it's about generating maximum added value for customers and suppliers and increasing this from trade fair to trade fair; true to our motto: We make our customers even more successful."
The technical highlight was the EXPO Talk, moderated by science buster Martin Moder. On Wednesday evening, a high-calibre panel of experts provided guests with exciting insights into the energy transition and tips on implementing the German government's Renewable Heat Package 2024.
The EXPO Walks, during which Frauenthal's top management guided groups of visitors to selected exhibitors, were a first in terms of customer proximity. Tours were organised on the topics of photovoltaics, the energy transition, electrical systems, tools, fittings and piping technology. Thomas Stadlhofer summarises the feedback as follows: "The EXPO Walks were a very pleasant and focused introduction to specific areas of interest for customers. For the exhibitors, it was a unique opportunity to address new customers directly with their trade fair highlights. And for us, the EXPO Walks are the embodiment of the idea of the three-stage sales channel, where the Frauenthal EXPO becomes a marketplace of opportunities for customers and partners."
The Frauenthal EXPO was designed as an all-inclusive event. Visitors were able to concentrate fully on their trade fair experience, as everything else, such as transfers, hotel, admission, catering and parking, was free of charge and organised by Frauenthal.
