Gnotec came along to China

Article from Dagens Industri of November 3rd

Gnotec in Småland is one of only a few Swedish suppliers, who have established a business in China just when Volvo started its factory in Chengdu. Now they deliver sheet metal components at a short distance from the Volvo Chinese factories, at the same time as they are negotiating with other car factories about deliveries. It’s an investment that is supposed to lower the costs of deliveries to China for Gnotec. But Lars Wrebo isn’t completely satisfied. “I’m surprised that so few suppliers from Sweden have followed us to China, in spite of the fact that we urged them to do so”, says Lars Wrebo, who thinks that Gnotec sets a good example of the matter.
