Frauenthal Automotive extends presence in Sweden with Gnotec’s acquisition of TermoRegulator AB

With effect from 13th October 2014 Gnotec, part of the Frauenthal Automotive Division, will acquire a 100% interest in sheet metal parts producer TermoRegulator, based in Motala, Sweden. The acquisition has been completed following approval by the relevant committees at Frauenthal Holding AG. TermoRegulator has 35 employees and annual revenues of 5 MEUR. The purchase price is approx. 200 TEUR.

“This add-on acquisition is a comparatively small growth step but strategically very interesting. TermoRegulator brings new customers in the non-automotive business, broadens our technological capabilities in surface treatment of sheet metal and with hydraulic oil tanks a product with growth potential.” explains Frauenthal Holding AG Executive Board member Martin Sailer.

“The TermoRegulator acquisition will enable us to leverage synergies with our existing facilities. As part of the group, TermoRegulator will also provide services like surface treatment which are currently supplied externally,” comments Stefan Ottosson, CEO of Frauenthal Automotive’s Gnotec business unit.

TermoRegulator will be affiliated with the Gnotec site in Habo.
